Wedding DJ at The Delightful Umstead Hotel and Spa The Wedding Lawn A Beautiful Spring Day at The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Charming Cary, North Carolina. Here at Stylus, we’ve had the delightful fortune to work with some of the most beautiful venues that North Carolina has to offer. Centrally located within the Triangle (just a short drive from Raleigh, Durham, Apex, Chapel Hill, and RTP), this beautiful venue is a hot commodity. It never ceases to amaze us the amount of heartfelt work some of these venues put into ensuring couples are experiencing their *perfect* day, but our friends at  The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, NC truly go above and beyond to cater to their clients, guests, and vendors.

With a few different stunning on-premise locations to choose from, some of the best food and catering you’ve ever tasted, and professional and hardworking staff – you can’t go wrong with The Umstead as a wedding venue for your elegant fete.
We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful North Carolina spring day for our event this past Saturday.  Surrounded by sweet-smelling flowers that were freshly in bloom and the relaxing sound of the lake and waterfall behind our Bride and Groom, it was a picturesque Cary, North Carolina wedding.

As our Bride and Groom decided on our very popular Classic Wedding Package , we were blessed with the opportunity to set up outside for the ceremony and enjoy the sights before we headed inside for the real party. We ensured that each separate setup was put together well before the event took place for a seamless transition. As one of North Carolina’s premier wedding and event DJ companies, we pride ourselves on ensuring that each step of the event process is executed seamlessly on our end. We are so very blessed to have been surrounded by an absolutely extraordinary wedding planning team. Our friends over at A Southern Soiree flawlessly organized and executed the flow of the day and ensured clear and effective communication between all parties. Our great pal at  Brian Mullins Photography  captured the big day through his incredibly artistic eye. And the FLOWERS! They were remarkably well coordinated by our friends at  Fallon’s Flowers . Not to mention, they truly popped with the stunning cake from one of *THE* best catering companies the Triangle has to offer, Catering Works. Let’s not forget the movie star perfect makeup from  Julie Robbins Makeup and that absolutely incredible wedding dress from  Coastal Knot . All around, we had a great team to help our couple’s big day go off without a hitch and we couldn’t be more grateful.
But now let’s talk about the PARTY. Our wedding DJs take a painstaking amount of time to prepare for each and every single wedding we are booked for. We meet with each of our clients to discuss exactly what kind of wedding they want. Elegant? Boho Chic? Multi-Cultural? Party until you just HAVE to take your shoes off? Discoteque? Laidback instrumentals? 90’s pop party complete with entire Backstreet Boys discography? We can do it all and we can do it well. Not only do we work extremely hard to ensure we meet YOUR vision, but we also LOVE our work immensely. Whether you want to walk down the aisle or into your reception to Abba’s “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do” or John Legend’s “All Of Me” – we’ve got you covered. You can even pick your own cake-cutting song!

With the Classic Package our couple chose for this event, we included cake lighting, enhanced floor lighting, SOUND, a SUPER fun Photo Booth (it was a BIG HIT), and more. We took our time setting up to match the elegant theme of the wedding and worked with the Bride and Groom alongside the wedding planner to ensure our visions aligned.
Everyone danced the night away and enjoyed great fellowship after this harrowing year of Covid-19 lockdown.
Remember, a great wedding DJ that understands how to read a crowd and has a massively diverse playlist can be the difference between “just a wedding” and a “GREAT wedding!”. Let us help you #SaveYourWedding.
