Raleigh Corporate Entertainment – Fashion Show DJ at Triangle Town Center for Saks Fifth Avenue Raleigh Corporate Event DJ at Saks Fifth Avenue Fashion Show Raleigh Corporate Event DJ for Saks Fifth Avenue Fashion Show We love doing lots of different types of events because there’s always something that makes each event unique and special. For this particular event at Saks Fifth Avenue in Triangle Town Center in Raleigh, they were premiering their new line of clothing for the summer and wanted to make sure that each of the staff knew what the new menswear line was capable of – so their amazing salesperson Veronica had a great idea – let’s do a Fashion Show!
Luckily, when she asked if anyone knew a great DJ who could help her pull this off multiple people immediately told her “You have to call Stylus!”
We had a limited window of opportunity to get in, get set up, and get the party rocking so we needed to make sure we had everything she needed ready to go because this fashion show was for employees only and had to be wrapped up before the door opened for guests.
We went with a clean white set-up and a smaller sound system that would reflect her style preferences but give us enough boom to fill the space appropriately and balance her MC/Mic needs to a staff that was going to be arranged down the ‘runway’.
Veronica is the perfect person to head up Saks Fifth Avenue’s menswear department because she’s incredibly fun to be around, stylish, and knows how to make an impression. When she asked some of her team to participate they knew they’d be in great hands because she knew how to dress them for maximum impact.
There were multiple lines of clothing she wanted to highlight: streetwear, active wear, and formal, and the fellow Saks Fifth Avenue staff threw themselves into their role as models and fashion icons.
To make it even better, Veronica and I had worked out some rough soundtracks to fit the vibe of each series, with a combination of uptempo lounge, derezzed hip hop beats, and club dance tracks. With lots of little asides that allowed us to get their staff hyped while informing them about the best ways to help incoming menswear clients to find their best looks.

and a few additions by us to fit their vibe by artists like the Isley Bros, Grammatik, Dave Nada, Medusza, Fat Rat, Claude Von Stroke, UZ, J Balvin, and LTJ Bukem as well as Raleigh’s own legendary DJ Severe.
While a lot of corporate events in Raleigh, Durham, and the rest of the Triangle can be large and very production heavy – others can be more targeted to make sure that you’re achieving very specific goals.
This is was the second year we’ve done this and we can’t wait to help make the next fashion show even more amazing. The store manager wanted to know what else we could help with and I started showing her some of the photos from our larger events and it was very clear the creativity and passion of the Saks Fifth Avenue store isn’t limited to their floor staff.
Of course, the best part is the great feedback we get, and Veronica didn’t hesitate to give me a huge hug and thank us for all our hard work. “This was perfect! As always!”
