Stun With The Best 2025 Wedding Ceremony Music

It’s 2025 and you’ve got lots of amazing wedding ceremony music options for your wedding ceremony! Here’s a quick guide to the best wedding ceremony songs for 2025!

Whether it’s a classic ballad or something newer, who knows – you might find your perfect wedding song among these romantic, powerful, and emotive songs.

When you’re looking to pick songs for your wedding ceremony, our recommended approach is to pick songs that speak to you. We’ve done wedding ceremonies that featured string quartet versions of popular rock songs, or a ceremony exclusively soundtracked by instrumental hip hop from Usher, Lil Jon, Ginuine, and Ice Spice. The sky is the limit and you can get as creative as you want!

However, you’re here because you’re looking for suggestions for great wedding ceremony songs – so here we go!

Before we dive too deep – We need to know what the main wedding ceremony music cues are, but feel freeskip if you just want the songs!

Wedding Cues (just the most frequent ones YMMV)
Seating of the family (Parents/Grandparents/Honored Guests)
Groom’s Entrance (processional)
Bride’s Entrance (processional)
Hymn/Prayer/Interlude (light music in the background while you do something)
Recessional (The song that plays once you’re officially married as you walk back down the aisle!)

Wedding Ceremony Music Untraditional Favorites:

Marry You by Bruno Mars
Upbeat, joyous, and perfectly themed. You might use this for your Groom’s Processional or perhaps for your Recessional!

Golden Hour by JVKE
One of the few slow songs from the past couple of years that we think needs to be featured in more weddings! It’s amazing and worth a look!

Lover by Taylor Swift
This is a modern classic that’s going to be showing up in weddings for the next 50 years at a minimum. Your grandkids might come down the aisle to this song. We had several couples use this as their bridal processional several times in 2024, but we think it’s really going to hit its stride in 2025.

Forever and Ever and Always by Ryan Mack (The Wedding Song)
If this isn’t on your radar, this song appeared in 2023 and is perfect for the couple that’s a little more online. Featured in the Ossy & Sherin proposal, a great TikTok shoutout that’s got all the feels.

A Thousand Years by Christina Perri
Stately, romantic, and a little nostalgic for middle or high school dances when you were younger. Because you didn’t know it when you first heard it, but this song was about your partner the whole time. This might be a great fit for your Processional.

Adore You by Nao (Stripped with Khalid or Piano Instrumental)
You get to pick something with a measured midtempo groove and a lilting vibrato voice expressing true love, or soft and soulful with echoes of grace and romance.

Bloom by The Paper Kites
A delicate song that’s great for a serene and intimate processional. This song makes me think of a beautiful sunny North Carolina summer early evening, with sunlight dappling the grass as you walk down the aisle. Perfect for the indie kid that loves Noah Kahan.

Can’t Help Falling in Love (Acoustic) by Haley Reinhart
Another great processional song that hits a nostalgic and romantic note. This Elvis Presley classic has been reimagined with a soft and soulful touch. Maybe this is a good song to feature for the seating of the parents?

Halo (Acoustic) by Beyoncé
Stripped down and powerful, reflecting a deep connection between you and your partner. Or perhaps because you’re saving Crazy in Love for later.

Speechless by Dan + Shay
This modern country ballad is taking its place in the wedding music pantheon very quickly. It helps to perfectly capture the magic of the moment, and it’s not too fast and not too slow! A great Processional or Interlude choice.

Best Part by H.E.R. featuring Daniel Caesar
A modern R&B choice with a soothing and heartfelt vibe. Make sure your DJ has great speakers if you’re picking something with this level of quality production.

Sailor Song by Gigi Perez
Surprising sweet and slightly naughty song for when you’re looking to do something tongue-in-cheek that doesn’t sound entirely out of place. If you like Zach Bryan, this might be up there.

Hoppípolla by Sigur Rós
It’s a shame more people don’t know about this band, but it’s entirely possible that you’ve heard some of their music in movies or shows. Our 2nd favorite Icelandic art collective, their music is transportive and transcendental—and this one is phenomenal.

If This World Were Mine by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell
Most people will immediately recognize this legendary duo from “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” and this beautiful duet captures the essence of commitment and true love.

Turning Page by Sleeping at Last
Soft, cinematic, and filled with deep emotional resonance, you might consider this for your processional or a ceremony interlude. Wedding Ceremony Music can hit any vibe you want – don’t be shy!

You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne
Celebratory and soulful, a great choice for your recessional! Somehow, Ray has managed to ingrain his music into the heart of the American wedding ceremony!

So Amazing by Luther Vandross
A timeless ballad about the beauty of love, and perfect for a grand entrance to the wedding ceremony or reception!

All You Need Is Love by The Beatles
From the immediately knowable intro to the movies it’s been featured in (Love Actually, anyone!?), this is as classic an untraditional song as you could ask for. Everyone gets the warm fuzzies when they start singing “Love…love…love…”, and everyone will sing out the chorus! Maybe this is the perfect recessional song for your ceremony.

This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole
Feel-good, timeless, and toe-tapping anthem that will get everyone’s hearts as full as yours are. A nice element we can do with this song is just loop the very beginning so that it’s lightly playing in the background as your officiant is making their pronouncement, and then we can take the loop off as soon as they formally present you. It feels very organic and nice.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder
From the opening instrumental to the moment the first verse hits, this is all the positive vibes wrapped up, and it’s thematically fun to play around with too. One of the nice things about a ‘classic’ song like this is that everyone is going to know it and feel emotionally connected to it.

I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness
POWERFUL ROCK GOODNESS for your Recessional or perhaps when the groom makes his dramatic first appearance. This one’s for the couple that’s here for the party!

This Is Why I Love You by MAJOR
Triumphant and heartfelt, this is a great choice for a strong and vibrant recessional song!

We Found Love by Boyce Avenue
Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s 2012 smash got covered by this little-known group, and it’s a keeper! Brothers Alejandro Luis Manzano, Daniel Enrique Manzano, and Fabian Rafael Manzano formed a cover band in Sarasota, Florida, and they knock just about everything out of the park.

The Bridgerton Soundtrack (Vitamin String Quartet)
Yes, that’s the Vitamin String Quartet, and yes, the whole thing is amazing (and you’ve got multiple seasons to pick from)! Standouts include the Duomo version of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams,” the Kiris Houston version of Calvin Harris’ “How Deep Is Your Love,” and the Hannah V & Joe Rodwell Version of Rihanna’s “Diamonds.” This is perfect for a lot of couples as they’re planning out their wedding ceremony music.

Die With a Smile by Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars
If you’ve been listening to the radio at all over the past couple of months, this might have been stuck in your head. It’s got drama, tension, release, and a message that definitely fits the moment!

Game of Thrones Theme by Ramin Djawadi
A dramatic, bold instrumental choice for a recessional or an entrance. Perfect for fantasy lovers! This is here to remind you that your wedding ceremony music can be anything you want it to be. This isn’t your parent’s wedding ceremony, and doesn’t have to sound like it!

Wedding Ceremony Songs You Probably Won’t Use (but we wanted to include anyway)

Songs that we DIDN’T THINK you’d want for your wedding ceremony music but we wanted to give some honorable mentions:

Beautiful Things by Benson Boone – While we love this song it has the loss centered, which doesn’t fit most ceremonies. Although, we absolutely hope there’s a wedding version at some point, it’s a bold choice that might fit some couples.

Too Sweet by Hozier – This Irish musician from Bray in County Wicklow, had a huge hit with 2013’s Take Me To Church when he was 23, and his most recent album is stellar. While we love what this song does on the dancefloor, this might be one of those songs that you use as an instrumental version.

Lose Control by Teddy Swims – One of 2024s biggest hits, this waltz centers on loss and themes of addiction, which might not be the right fit for some events. However, you could absolutely get by if you just use the instro or loop the chorus depending on how long your aisle is.

The Feels by Labrinth – This had such a powerful vibe and sonic palette, but we didn’t think it would appeal to as many people so it’s relegated here.

Just remember – IT’S YOUR WEDDING and you can do it any way you want to. If it’s important to you, it will stand out to your guests. As you’re planning out your wedding ceremony music, remember that your wedding music is going to be better if it reflects YOU! (not just you, your partner too, so it’s the royal “YOU” 🙂
