How Far in Advance Should We Book Stylus?

We recommend contacting us as soon as your wedding date is confirmed. While many DJs book three to six months in advance, popular Stylus dates may fill up one to two years ahead of time, especially during peak wedding seasons. Do You Provide Music and Audio for Wedding Ceremonies?

Yes. We can provide everything you need for your wedding ceremony, including specialty music selections, a microphone for your officiant, and up to 30 minutes of prelude music as your guests arrive. We will help ensure each moment feels seamless, from the first song to the final walk down the aisle.

How do we know whether Stylus is the right fit?

Every couple has a different vision for their wedding, and our goal is to understand what matters most to you. During the consultation, we will learn about your style, priorities, and music preferences so we can help match you with the right DJ. We love working with couples who are excited to create a memorable celebration that feels personal, polished, and genuinely fun.

Will We Meet With Our DJ Before the Wedding?

Absolutely. Most of our planning meetings are held virtually, making it easy to connect around your schedule. You can schedule as many virtual meetings as you need throughout the planning process. Prefer to meet in person? Just let us know, and we will be happy to arrange a meeting.

What Happens if the DJ has a Family Emergency or gets Laryngitis?

Stylus S.E. has a backup plan in place for unexpected situations such as illness or a family emergency. Our team includes several experienced DJs who can step in when needed. Your online planning portal also helps protect your event by keeping your timeline, music selections, announcements, and preferences organized in one place. Although emergencies are rare, we prepare carefully so your celebration can move forward smoothly.

Should we Tip the DJ?

Gratuities are always appreciated but never expected. Some couples choose to tip their DJ when they feel the service went above and beyond, but the decision is entirely up to you.
